Facility Overview:The VA Loma Linda Healthcare System (VALLHCS) is on the lookout for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist dedicated to serving our Veterans—true heroes of our nation! Conduct assessments, consultations, and prepare patients for anesthesia, including pre-operative evaluations.
Administer anesthesia to ensure pain relief during surgical, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures, while managing affected patients.
Monitor and restore homeostasis during the perioperative phase, as well as for critically ill or injured patients.
Diagnose and provide intraoperative treatment for painful conditions.
Oversee clinical management and instruction in cardiac and pulmonary resuscitation.
Evaluate respiratory function and implement various forms of respiratory therapy.
Supervise, teach, and assess the performance of both medical and paramedical staff in anesthesia practices.
Engage in administrative duties within hospitals, medical schools, and outpatient facilities to fulfill these responsibilities.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives if desired.
The annual salary ranges from $350,000 to $380,000.
Work Schedule:Flexible hours are available, with options for weekday or weekend shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays, in-house.
Preferred Qualifications:Applicants should be ABA Board Certified or Board Eligible.
