Peery Highway, Richlands, VA 24641 Start Date: 05/01/2026 End Date/Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Mix of procedural days (Mon, Wed, 1/2 Thu, Fri) and outpatient days (Tues, 1/2 Thu), night call every night Hours/Week: Based on scheduled shifts; overtime after 40 hours Employment Type: Contract License/Certs: Virginia medical license, board certification preferred Experience: Relevant GI/specialty experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $1.00/hr (Note: confirm with client; rate appears placeholder) Benefits: Competitive pay package, weekly pay through direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel, and reimbursement when applicable What You’ll Do Perform GI procedures in the Endoscopy Suite on scheduled days Provide outpatient consults and patient management in the clinic setting Rounding on hospital consults and managing overnight call duties Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care Comply with all facility policies, documentation, and procedural standards Participate in scheduled procedures and patient follow-ups What You Need Active Virginia medical license Board certification in Gastroenterology (preferred) Experience performing endoscopy and outpatient GI care Ability to work flexible hours, including night call Strong clinical documentation skills About the Assignment This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a well-respected facility providing comprehensive GI services.
