The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is accepting applications for a full-time, non-invasive cardiologist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Clinical Attending/Clinical Educator pathways. UAMS is the states only academic center with a rapidly growing Cardiovascular program. The Cardiology Division consists of 15 staff Cardiologists, 18 fellows (12 general, 3 Interventional, 2 Electrophysiology fellows, 1 structural imaging fellow) and 9 advanced practice providers who provide state of the art cardiac services including structural cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology, and advanced heart failure.

1. Busy inpatient primary Cardiology ward team and consult services

3. Busy echocardiography laboratory with expertise in all forms of advanced echocardiography including 3D echo, strain and structural echocardiography

4. Collaborative practice with Radiology in Nuclear Cardiology, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI
\n
5. Dedicated closed CVICU and a growing structural, ECMO and cardiac surgery program

Minimum requirements:

1. Completion of an ACGME accredited Cardiology fellowship
\n
2. Board certified or board eligible in Cardiology
\n
3. COCATS level 2 training (or above) in all aspects of echocardiography.
