\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Deployment Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. This is an onsite position.
\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:
\n- \n

Coordinate and execute site deployments, including planning, scheduling, and on-site installation of hardware and configurations
\n - \n
Conduct site surveys to assess network environments, gather user requirements, and document current configurations
\n - \n
Configure routers, switches, computers, and peripherals; implement and maintain secure, reliable network architecture
\n - \n
Provide daily IT support across client/server/storage/network systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
\n - \n
Manage system configurations and documentation, oversee hardware procurement, inventory, equipment movement, and shipping
\n - \n
Ensure compliance with security directives and support architecture improvements through change requests and performance recommendations
\n - \n
Travel up to 75% within the U.S. and occasionally (5–10%) OCONUS to perform deployment activities, surveys, installations, and on-site support
\n
Minimum Qualifications:
\n- \n
- \n
Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of IT-related experience, or High School Diploma with 6+ years of IT experience may be substituted for a degree
\n - \n
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification, e.g., Security+
\n - \n
DoD 8570 Computing Environment Certification required within 6 months of hire, e.g., MCSA, VCP, or equivalent
\n - \n
Experience with Microsoft Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019 Servers; Microsoft Windows 10; administering Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and workstation and server hardware; administering Microsoft Office 2010/2016; administering DNS, Group Policy, and PKI; administering vSphere, Horizon View, data backup, and antivirus software; basic networking including DHCP/TCPIP; experience with deploying workstation images; and experience with thin and/or zero clients

Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Systems, HP SANs, or VMware products
\n - \n
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
\n - \n
Experience using a Service Desk ticketing system, such as ServiceNow
\n
Preferred Qualifications:
\n- \n
- \n
Outstanding customer relationship management skills
\n - \n
Ability to operate under minimal supervision.
\n - \n
Experience in the following areas: hardware/software security, router and switch communications protocols, network management, encryption techniques, firewall rule definition and authentication technologies.
\n - \n
Working knowledge of communication security (COMSEC) policies and integration
\n - \n
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows systems, including DNS, Group Policy, and PKI
\n - \n
Good working knowledge of applying security best practices from DISA and/or vendors.
\n - \n
Basic networking
\n - \n
ITIL Foundations certification
\n - \n
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
\n
Clearance Requirements:
\n- \n

Must have a current/active TS/SCI and be willing and able to obtain a polygraph
\n
Physical Requirements:

- \n
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
