\nThis position plays a key role in machining fabricated structures and weldments used in demanding maritime and defense applications. You'll work on large-scale projects where craftsmanship, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills directly contribute to mission-critical equipment.

\nThe Work You'll Be Doing
\nIn this role, you will:
\n- \n
- Set up and operate SNK RB-4 and RB-6 CNC bridge and gantry mills \n
- Machine large, complex weldments and fabricated components up to 25 feet in size \n
- Independently set up intricate parts and fixturing \n
- Read and interpret advanced blueprints, engineering drawings, and job layouts \n
- Modify and create CNC programs to meet company and customer requirements \n
- Verify tool paths and perform collision analysis before machining operations \n
- Select tooling and establish machine setups using documented setup procedures \n
- Machine stainless steel, aluminum, exotic alloys, and high-temperature materials \n
- Maintain dimensional accuracy while meeting production goals \n
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments \n
- Operate overhead cranes and perform rigging for large-part handling \n
- Collaborate with quality, engineering, and production teams to ensure successful project completion \n
- Maintain equipment and a safe, organized work area \n

- 3+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment \n
- Multi-axis machining experience \n
- Experience with tool path verification and collision analysis \n
- Ability to independently perform machine setups \n
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications \n
- Strong understanding of tooling, offsets, and machining processes \n
- Experience using precision measuring instruments \n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality \n
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 pounds \n
- Ability to stand for extended periods \n
