Primary Care Physician Oxford, NC
\nJob Summary:
\n We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our healthcare team in Oxford, NC. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients in a rural setting, addressing a wide range of medical conditions while promoting overall wellness within the community.
Key Responsibilities
\nPatient Care:

- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments \n
- Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions \n
- Provide preventive care, including screenings, vaccinations, and health education \n
- Manage common illnesses and injuries; coordinate care for complex cases \n
- Deliver care across all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics \n
Community Engagement:

- Foster strong relationships with patients and families by addressing their unique needs \n
- Participate in community health initiatives and educational programs \n
- Build trust within the community and advocate for patient healthcare needs \n
Collaboration & Coordination:

- Work collaboratively with specialists, nurses, and support staff \n
- Coordinate patient referrals and follow-up care \n
- Utilize telemedicine and other technologies to extend care \n
Administrative Duties:

- Maintain accurate and compliant patient records \n
- Manage scheduling, billing, and other administrative responsibilities as needed \n
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practice guidelines \n
Emergency Care:

- Provide urgent care for a wide range of medical emergencies in a rural setting \n
- Respond quickly and effectively to patient needs in emergent situations \n
Professional Development:

- Stay current with medical advancements and continuing education requirements \n
- Participate in professional organizations and relevant conference \n
Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school \n
- Licensure: Active NC medical license (or eligibility) \n
- Board Certification: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related specialty (board certified or board eligible) \n
- Experience: Prior experience in rural or underserved settings preferred, but not required \n
