A great 240-bed full-service, acute care hospital is looking for a full-time, permanent Respiratory Therapist. If you’re interested in joining a team characterized by commitment, integrity, respect, and collaboration, this might be the place for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs pre-operative procedures such as selection and placement of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
\n
• Assists surgeon and designated assistants in invasive procedures, passing instruments and supplies and anticipating the needs of the surgical team.
\n
• During the surgical procedure provides instruments, sutures, and other sterile supplies.
\n
• Helps prepare, care for, and dispose of specimens taken for laboratory analysis and helps apply dressings.
\n
• Applies basic knowledge of anatomy & physiology, medical terminology and microbiology.
\n
• Applies knowledge related to emergency situations and surgical procedures in the operating room.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certificate or Degree from a Surgical Technology Program
\n
• Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA
\n
• ***willing to consider NEW GRADS***
