\n We are seeking a versatile and patient-focused Occupational Therapist to join a leading regional healthcare provider. This role is primarily based in an Outpatient setting, with occasional opportunities to float into Acute Care. You will lead a collaborative team, delegating responsibilities to COTAs and Aides while utilizing evidence-based assessments to restore optimal patient function.\n

\n \n Compensation & Incentives\n

- Pay Rate: Starting at $32.00/hr (Scale increases based on years of experience). \n
- Sign-On Bonus: $14,000 (Requires a 2-year commitment). \n

\n Key Responsibilities\n
\n - \n
- Clinical Evaluation: Assess skeletal, neurological, cognitive, social, and developmental functions to determine patient needs. \n
- Treatment Design: Develop and implement goal-specific treatment plans, acting as a Case Manager to ensure continuity of care. \n
- Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise COTAs, Home Health Aides, and students; provide clinical guidance and co-sign necessary documentation. \n
- Patient Advocacy: Educate families and caregivers on pathologies and home exercise programs; coordinate the procurement of adaptive equipment. \n
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in team conferences and process improvement initiatives to elevate the standard of care. \n
\n Requirements & Qualifications\n
\n - \n
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (minimum). \n
- Licensure: OTR and NBCOT certification required. \n
- Certification: BLS (or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire). \n
- Experience: 1+ years preferred, but New Grads with strong outpatient fieldwork are encouraged to apply. \n
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and electronic documentation systems. \n
\n Physical Demands\n
\n - \n
- Medium demand level: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently. \n
- Requires postural changes (stooping, kneeling) and the ability to stand/walk for extended periods. \n
