Clinic-Based Obstetrics/Gynecology Opportunity

We are a community hospital with 99 beds located in Sterling, IL, operating under an employed physician model. Our organization currently employs approximately 77 physicians and 75 advanced practice providers across 35 medical specialties. In addition to our main hospital and clinic, we have 14 satellite facilities serving the surrounding area.

Position Overview

• Board Certified/Board Eligible
• No Overnight or Weekend Call
• Onsite DaVinci Robotic Surgical System (DV5)
• Approximately 550 Births Annually
• Active Practice Environment
• 60% Obstetrics, 40% Gynecology
• Level 2 Nursery Available
• Future Staffing Plan:
  • 2 On-Call Ob/Gyn Hospitalists
  • 3 Clinic-Based Ob/Gyn Physicians
  • 3 Women's Health APPs/Certified Nurse Midwives
• Responsibilities Include:
  • Seeing patients in the clinic
  • Performing deliveries from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Thursday, and 7:00 AM to Noon on Fridays
  • Conducting typical surgical procedures
  • Providing daytime C-section coverage for Certified Nurse Midwives
  • Supervising advanced practice providers
