We invite you to join our organization as a physician at our OBGYN North practice, where you will collaborate with a team of highly skilled professionals in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. We are looking for a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN to become part of our established private practice located in Portland, OR. Our medical facility and Labor & Delivery services are situated at the Level I Trauma/Level IV NICU Legacy Emanuel Medical Center and Randall Children’s Hospital. Our practice encompasses comprehensive Obstetrics and Gynecology, featuring a high volume of obstetric cases and a strong focus on gynecological care, including expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques. The independence of our respected practice allows us to swiftly respond to the evolving needs of the healthcare landscape.

As a collaborative and data-driven physician, you will have the chance to:

  • Deliver personalized, comprehensive OBGYN care to patients.

  • Enjoy an average workweek of 3.5 days, which includes clinic hours, on-call duties, and time in the operating room (both major and minor procedures).

  • Benefit from provider-driven scheduling that supports your interests and promotes work-life balance.

  • Participate in a call rotation of 1:6, with the option for a day off or a half-day following on-call shifts.

  • Utilize a reciprocal back-up call system supported by high-quality, in-house OB/GYN Hospitalists.

  • Engage in teaching residents and students in both office and hospital environments.

  • Collaborate closely with specialists in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Urogynecology, general (breast) and colorectal surgery, and urology.

  • Work alongside Naturopathic Doctors, Certified Nurse Midwives, and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners to enhance outpatient care.

  • Benefit from in-office operations designed to improve satisfaction for both patients and providers, including:

    • Gynecological Ultrasound technologists (interpreted by GYN Radiologists)

    • OB Sonographers (interpreted by MFM)

    • Laboratory services

    • In-office procedures such as D&C, Hysteroscopy, SIS, and LEEP, with Pro-Nox (nitrous oxide) available for patient comfort.

  • Receive assistance for all laparoscopic, robotic, and open surgical procedures.

  • Have affiliations with multiple Ambulatory Surgery Centers and hospitals to streamline surgical scheduling.

  • Access RN triage after hours to minimize physician phone call volume.

  • Enjoy 4 weeks of annual vacation during the pre-partnership phase, increasing to 8 weeks once partnered.

  • Focus on staff development to ensure each team member operates at the peak of their abilities.

Qualifications:

  • M.D. or D.O. degree.

  • Eligibility for Oregon State licensure.

  • Board-certified or board-eligible status.
