Registered Dental Hygienist

Eligibility Criteria for the Registered Dental Hygienist Role:

• Possess a valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
• Hold an up-to-date CPR certification
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to oral health and patient well-being.

Responsibilities of the Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH):

• Educate patients on dental hygiene practices, including tooth care and nutrition
• Perform scaling and polishing to eliminate plaque and tartar buildup
• Take dental impressions and/or radiographs as needed
• Apply preventive treatments such as antibacterial agents, sealants, and topical fluoride to reduce the risk of cavities
• Conduct screenings and ongoing assessments of oral health
