We are currently on the lookout for a board-certified or board-eligible OBGYN physician to become a part of our dynamic practice at Southeast Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. Our dedicated OBGYN team consists of two physicians, three midwives, two advanced practitioners, and a committed support staff, all focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities and Offerings:

  • Income Guarantee: A two-year income guarantee of $450,000 along with a $200,000 recruitment incentive.

  • Call Schedule: 1:6 call rotation.

  • Modern clinic facilities featuring a comprehensive Women's Integrated Health program, including onsite Breast Health Services, diagnostic testing, and pelvic floor physical therapy.

  • Two in-clinic ultrasounds with specialized OBGYN sonographers.

  • Two procedure rooms available within the clinic.

  • 24/7 access to Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists for consultations and transports.

Recognitions and Facilities:

  • Approximately 800 births annually at our birthing facility, which includes a Level III NICU.

  • Neonatologist available for the care of infants born at 28 weeks and older.

  • Support from OBGYN Hospitalists for inpatient care and emergencies.

  • The Dennis B. Elrod OBGYN Center features 18 private birthing suites, allowing mothers to give birth and recover in the same room, along with two OR suites for labor and delivery.

  • 24-hour in-house anesthesia services.

  • Equipped with two Da Vinci surgical robots.

  • Utilization of a system-wide Epic EMR.

This Position Includes:

  • Income Guarantee: A two-year income guarantee of $450,000 with a $200,000 recruitment incentive.

  • Up to $75,000 available for Student Loan Reimbursement.

  • Relocation assistance of up to $20,000.

  • Options for Student Loan Forgiveness and Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).

  • Four weeks of vacation plus six holidays during the guarantee period.

  • An annual CME allowance of $5,000.
