Our organization is on the lookout for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Facility on a full-time basis.
Requirements for the Occupational Therapist Position:
- Must be a graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
- Possess a valid Occupational Therapy License in New York State.
- Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care is preferred; however, new graduates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assess residents and create individualized OT treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
- Select activities that empower residents to perform daily tasks independently.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document residents' progress in occupational therapy through detailed reporting.
- Ensure resident confidentiality by managing sensitive information appropriately.
- Foster a collaborative environment within the healthcare team.
