As a Registered Nurse with us, you will have access to all the staffing support, technology, and resources necessary to deliver safe, high-quality care, allowing you to concentrate on your core responsibilities.

Position Overview and Qualifications

In the role of Patient Flow Coordinator, you will be essential in guaranteeing that patients receive prompt, efficient, and compassionate care from the moment they enter the Emergency Department. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Coordinating EMS transports and triage processes to facilitate timely room assignments, hand-offs, and safe care transitions.
  • Collaborating with the Nursing Supervisor to manage patient transfers and admissions from the Emergency Department.
  • Monitoring staffing levels and patient volumes to suggest optimal scheduling that ensures a safe and effective workflow.
  • Evaluating wait times, test turnaround, and other throughput metrics to identify areas for process improvement and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Serving as a communication bridge between physicians, patients, families, and hospital departments to promote teamwork and exceptional patient experiences.
Qualifications Required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license.
