Manage high-risk deliveries alongside OB and perinatal teams. Deliver patient-centered care to a daily census of approximately 9-11 patients. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Neonatologists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, nurses, and respiratory therapists. Mentor NICU nursing and respiratory staff, supporting growth and acuity adaptations. Develop and implement clinical protocols to enhance patient care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and strategic growth efforts of the NICU program. Engage in hospital leadership communication to align clinical and operational goals. Optional moonlighting opportunities across Virginia. What You Need Required: Board-certified or eligible Neonatologist Valid licensure or eligibility to practice in Virginia Experience in NICU management and delivery of high-risk neonatal care Preferred: Experience with Level III NICUs and multidisciplinary collaboration Leadership or mentoring experience About the Assignment Join a dedicated team within a leading healthcare facility in Fredericksburg, VA, committed to providing high-quality neonatal services with a patient-focused approach.
