Manage high-risk deliveries alongside OB and perinatal teams. Deliver patient-centered care to a daily census of approximately 9-11 patients. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Neonatologists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, nurses, and respiratory therapists. Mentor NICU nursing and respiratory staff, supporting growth and acuity adaptations. Develop and implement clinical protocols to enhance patient care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and strategic growth efforts of the NICU program. Engage in hospital leadership communication to align clinical and operational goals. Optional moonlighting opportunities across Virginia.
