Saint Luke's East Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Cardiovascular Recovery Unit. \n
\n
Position: Registered Nurse - CVRU\n
Schedule: Part Time, 24 Hours/Week - Nights\n
\n
\nJoin a dynamic and collaborative cardiac and critical care team where your expertise and clinical judgement truly make a difference. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures, as well as managing acute and critical diagnoses. The RN functions with a high degree of clinical judgement, accountability, and critical thinking while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.\n

\nPatient Population & Clinical Focus\n
\n
\nThe RN will care for patients with, but not limited to:\n
    \n
  • Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
  • \n
  • Pacemaker placement
  • \n
  • Peripheral vascular procedures
  • \n
  • Interventional radiology (IR) procedures
  • \n
  • Respiratory failure
  • \n
  • DKA/insulin drips
  • \n
  • Post-STEMI recovery
  • \n
  • Other acute and complex cardiac and critical care diagnoses
  • \n
Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team. Delegates tasks appropriately. Identifies hospital resources. Serves as a clinical resource for new employees. Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.\n

\nAdvanced Cardiac Life Support RQI - Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI), Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various\n
