Job Title: Pipe Fitter
\nLocation: Duncan, SC Schedule: 1st Shift Employment Type: Full Time
\nJob Summary
\nWe are seeking experienced Pipe Fitters to support fabrication and assembly of piping systems within our shop environment. This role is responsible for layout, fit-up, installation, and preparation of pipe systems to ensure proper welding and assembly in accordance with drawings, specifications, and production requirements.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Read and interpret isometric drawings and specifications \n
- Perform layout, cutting, threading, bending, and fit-up of piping systems \n
- Assemble and install carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping \n
- Install pipe supports, hangers, and brackets \n
- Plan work to avoid obstructions and maintain workflow \n
- Test piping systems for leaks and ensure proper installation \n
- Work closely with welders to support production \n
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies \n
Additional Duties
\n- \n
- Assist other departments to support production flow \n
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives \n
- Perform other duties as assigned \n
Required Qualifications
\n- \n
- Minimum of 3+ years of pipe fitting experience \n
- Must pass a written test \n
- Ability to fit carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping \n
- Strong understanding of pipe systems, layout, and installation practices \n
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications \n
- Experience using pipe fabrication tools and equipment \n
- Experience of Welding procedures and processes GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, GMAW \n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment \n
- Ability to lift, carry, and work in physically demanding conditions \n
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in fabrication shop \n
- Forklift or material handling experience \n
