Our organization in Mason City, Iowa, is thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Sleep Medicine Physician to become part of our dedicated team. We are a physician-owned, multi-specialty group committed to providing exceptional healthcare.

  • Trauma Center: Join a Level III Trauma Center equipped with helicopter services.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary: $333,626 annually plus production incentives.
  • Bonus Package: $48,000 bonus for the first two years.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Includes paid malpractice insurance, continuing medical education (CME) support, relocation assistance, paid time off (PTO), health, dental, vision, life insurance, health savings account (HSA), disability coverage, and a generous retirement contribution from the employer.
About the Medical Center

Our regional health system encompasses 14 counties and includes a teaching hospital, critical access hospitals, and numerous clinics throughout northern Iowa. We offer residency programs in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine, as well as fellowships in Cardiology and Pharmacy.

Qualifications
  • Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible, with certification required within three years of eligibility.
  • We encourage H1B and J1 visa candidates to apply.
  • All offers are contingent upon successful completion of references, background checks, pre-employment physicals, and drug screenings.
  • A degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school is mandatory.
  • Completion of a relevant residency program demonstrating competency as a physician is required.
  • Must be eligible for medical staff privileges at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential.
  • Must possess or be eligible for a physician license in the State of Iowa, along with an Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
