Job Description
Our organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team for the Night Shift at our facility located in Syracuse, NY.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee resident care by effectively scheduling and assigning nursing personnel as a Registered Nurse (RN) supervisor.
Create a nurturing atmosphere by offering support to both residents and their families.
Respond to inquiries and requests from residents and staff, providing necessary information.
Ensure a safe and hygienic workplace by adhering to established rules and regulations.
Safeguard resident confidentiality by managing sensitive information appropriately.
Document all resident care services accurately and thoroughly.
Foster a collaborative environment among healthcare teams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Possession of a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care is essential.
Must demonstrate strong leadership qualities and positivity as a Team Director for all staff members.
Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and e-Prescribing systems is preferred.
Exceptional communication skills are necessary.
Basic computer proficiency is required.
