• Title: Staff Pathologist (AP/CP with Hematopathology focus)

• Location: Audie Murphy VA Hospital San Antonio, Texas

• Type: Permanent, Full-Time

• Compensation: $250K $350K + Relocation & Retention Incentives
\n
• Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP): Up to $200,000 TAX-FREE!

• Academic Affiliation: Faculty appointment available
\n
• Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM + rotating call (approx. 1 week/month)

• Provide high-quality Anatomic & Clinical Pathology services, including:
  \n Cytology (Gyn & Non-Gyn)
  \n Surgical Pathology (Derm, GI, GU, Breast, Lung, etc.)
  \n Hematopathology (Bone marrow biopsy, flow cytometry, lymph nodes)
  \n Rotating transfusion medicine/apheresis coverage
\n
• Collaborate with a team of 7 pathologists on one campus
\n
• Teach & mentor pathology residents
\n

VA Physician Qualifications

\n
• U.S. Citizenship (Non-citizens may be considered when qualified citizens are not available)
\n
• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
\n
• Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in any U.S. state or territory
\n
• Board eligibility/certification in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (ABP)
\n
• Hematopathology fellowship and board certification preferred
\n
