Key Responsibilities

• Employ the nursing process to provide care for patients in both ICU and Step-Down ICU units.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to nursing standards and state regulations.
• Document patient care in accordance with established standards.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans for individual patients.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance.
• Offer clinical expertise and support to other departments and units.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting.
• Current Illinois nursing license, along with CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; verification of education is required.

Working Conditions

This position is based in a Level 1 Trauma Center, where you will be part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team dedicated to patient safety and quality care.
