Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in line with departmental needs and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Working alongside medical professionals and other care team members, the RN provides tailored, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing frameworks such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN acts as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an exceptional patient experience and positive clinical outcomes that enhance overall departmental performance.

  • Executes procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring timely and thorough documentation of care in the patient’s medical record.
  • Educates patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up actions, simplifying complex medical language for better understanding.
  • Instructs patients, families, and caregivers on non-medical follow-up actions, including healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and other self-management strategies.
  • Implements evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives to meet and surpass quality standards, enhancing the exceptional care provided to patients.
  • Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to manage the quality of care, coordinating, evaluating, customizing, and delivering a holistic treatment plan that fosters recovery.
Qualifications Required:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
