Client of Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for a: Trucking Coordinator Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000 annually Position Overview We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our client’s team as a Trucking Coordinator at our HUB location. This individual will manage the complete transportation lifecycle for inbound and outbound shipments across all HUB locations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer-focused, and experienced in logistics coordination, dispatching, and transportation management. Job Summary The Trucking Coordinator is responsible for shipment creation, carrier quoting, dispatching, track and trace activities, customer and supplier communication, shipment status updates, and Proof of Delivery (POD) management. This role ensures customer service expectations and key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently achieved while supporting efficient transportation operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Create transportation shipments within the Transportation Management System (TMS). Obtain and evaluate carrier quotes to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions. Dispatch shipments to approved trucking companies for all HUB locations. Monitor shipments from pickup through final delivery using track and trace processes. Provide proactive shipment updates to customers and internal stakeholders. Maintain accurate shipment milestones and status updates in company systems. Serve as the primary liaison between customers, suppliers, warehouses, and carriers. Investigate and resolve transportation service issues and shipment exceptions. Obtain, validate, and upload Proofs of Delivery (PODs) in accordance with customer KPI requirements. Verify transportation charges and support invoice accuracy. Identify opportunities to improve transportation processes and service performance. Provide training and ongoing support for the Rulewave Platform and Supplier Pickup Tool (SPT), ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures, system processes, and customer requirements. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatching, or a related field. Preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline. Skills and Competencies Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities. Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities. Detail-oriented with effective problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word). Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and logistics software. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Working Conditions Office-based position supporting transportation operations for all HUB locations. Occasional extended hours may be required to support business and transportation needs. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) On-time pickup performance. On-time delivery performance. Accuracy and timeliness of shipment status updates. Timely Proof of Delivery (POD) uploads. Customer satisfaction and service levels. Transportation cost and invoice accuracy. Compensation Salary Range: $50,000 – $55,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
