Experience: A minimum of three years of experience as a first-class Sheet Metal Worker is required. This experience should encompass the installation of foundations, ventilation, bulkheads, shipboard furniture, and sheet metal fabrication shop work. Marine experience is preferred; however, aircraft, industrial, or commercial sheet metal experience is acceptable.
\nRequired Skills:

- Ability to comprehend complex ventilation assembly drawings, blueprints, and sketches, including weld symbols, material types, datum, and reference lines. \n
- Ability to comprehend fractional and decimal dimensions utilizing a ruler. \n
- Ability to lay off piece parts for fabrication and assembly. \n
- Ability to assemble piece parts in accordance with specifications in a quality manner. \n
- Experience working in a physically demanding environment. \n
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations pertinent to the shipbuilding industry. \n
- Experience using small hand tools (electric drills, grinders, rivet guns) and shop equipment (drill press, press brake, shears, etc.). \n
