Schedule: 5x10s (50 hrs/week), Start time: 7:00 AM (every other weekend work saturdays)
Employment Type / Pay Type: W2 Contract
Pay Rate: $49.66/hr with Per Diem- $100 a day

Position Summary

We are seeking 6G-certified pipe welders for an on-site project at Ellsworth AFB. Welders must be able to produce high-quality welds in accordance with applicable procedures and standards, work safely on an active federal installation, and complete all onboarding requirements to gain base access.

Responsibilities

• Perform 6G pipe welding in a production/jobsite environment.
\n
• Weld on carbon steel and stainless piping as required by the scope of work.
\n
• Read and work from basic jobsite direction (and as applicable, drawings/specs/WPS).
\n
• Maintain weld quality, productivity, and safe work practices at all times.
\n
• Comply with all site safety requirements and base rules/regulations.
\n
• Complete all required onboarding steps and documentation for base access.
\n

Required Qualifications

\n
• Current 6G certification (must be able to demonstrate/prove qualification).
\n
• 5+ years of relevant welding experience.
\n
• Ability to pass background check and drug test (required for base access).
\n
• Reliable transportation and ability to report as directed.
\n

Onboarding / Reporting Instructions

\n
• Workers will report first to the Union Hall, then proceed to the site afterward to complete onboarding requirements before beginning work on base.
\n
