\nJob Description:
\nThis is an opportunity to join the expanding Allina Consultation Liaison Psychiatry group and to establish the first in-person psychiatry care at our largest and most acute regional hospital. The position provides psychiatric care for individuals experiencing complex mental health care needs during their medical admission. You will work on site at St. Francis Regional Medical Center and also provide telehealth coverage across additional Allina Health hospital campus medical and intensive care units.

Principle Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Direct Patient Care.\n
- \n
- Reviews patient's medical history while collecting, prioritizing, and synthesizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. \n
- Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care. \n
- Works collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being. \n
- Practices in a thoughtful manner including consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy and legal responsibilities. \n
- Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management. \n

- Provides Psychiatric Consultation.\n
- \n
- Provides psychiatric services to a diverse patient population. \n
- Develops behaviorally-focused, outcomes-based treatment plans of care that address mental health, functional impairment, and co-occurring addictive or medical disorders. \n
- Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary team. \n
- Provides full Mental Health care planning including medication recommendation and prescriptions. \n

Required Qualifications
\n- \n
- Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine \n
- Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Residency training program in Psychiatry or foreign equivalency training \n
- Completion of consult liaison fellowship strongly preferred \n
Licenses/Certifications
- \n
- Licensed Physician - MN Board of Medical Practice required and psychiatric board certification within 2 years of hire upon hire \n
- ACLS-BLS Tier 3 - Multisource required upon hire \n
- Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate required upon hire \n
- Prescription Monitoring Program required upon hire \n
- National Provider Identifier required upon hire \n

Pay Range
\nPay Range: $340,025 to $351,000 per year\nThe pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).\n\n\nBenefit Summary
