Hospital Employed Family Medicine Opportunity in Ohio - $200k Medical School Loan Repayment!
Job Description
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Practice Physician to become a part of our hospital-affiliated team.
Compensation PackagesWe offer two distinct compensation options:
- Option 1: A base salary of $286,290* (50th percentile MGMA for recent graduates), with additional compensation based on experience, guaranteed for two years. This can transition to a wRVU production contract once targets are surpassed.
- Option 2: A base salary of $350,085* (75th percentile MGMA), guaranteed for one year, after which it will convert to a wRVU production contract.
*Note: A 5% reduction applies for those who are not yet board certified, with salary adjustments made upon certification.
Contract BenefitsThis two-year contract includes:
- Vacation: 29 days of paid time off (PTO), plus an additional 5 days for achieving 75th percentile wRVUs.
- CME/Books & Journals: 5 days of PTO and up to $5,000 for continuing education.
- Deferred Compensation: 457b plan allowing deferral of compensation up to the IRS limit of $22,500 annually, pre-tax. No matching contributions.
- Retirement/Savings Plan: 403b plan permitting deferral up to the IRS limit of $23,000 annually for those under 50, and $30,500 for those over 50, with a dollar-for-dollar match up to 2% of base salary.
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 paid directly to the moving company.
- Malpractice Insurance: Coverage under a claims-made policy with limits of $2,000,000 per claim and $6,000,000 aggregate.
- Health Insurance: Minimal premium paid by the provider, deducted from paychecks.
- Liquidated Damages: A non-compete clause of 70 miles for two years, or liquidated damages equivalent to one year’s salary.
- Bonus Opportunities: Attractive bonus incentives of up to 10% of salary.
- Medical School Loan Repayment: Up to $200,000 in loan repayment ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment).
- Sign-On Bonus: 15% of base salary, up to $100,000, paid upon contract signing and forgiven over 2-4 years.
- Residency Stipend: Up to $25,000, contingent upon a two-year service commitment.
Location: Family Health Center
Office Hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Call Schedule: 1.5 days during the week and 1.5 weekends from Saturday 8:00 AM to Monday 8:00 AM.
Operational Hours: Lab, X-ray, and pharmacy services align with urgent care hours. Family practice, CT, MRI, and ultrasound services are available by appointment.
Patient Load: Expect to see 20-25 patients daily.
Procedures: Responsibilities include injections, ear irrigation, breathing treatments, and mole/skin tag removals.
Practice Expectations: You will be responsible for acute care coverage. The practice also serves as an outpatient lab draw site, accepting walk-in patients for blood draws. We are looking for a provider who is eager to expand the practice, is patient-centered, and can adapt to last-minute scheduling changes to accommodate patient needs. Participation in Antibiotic Stewardship is also expected.
