In this position, you will join a nurturing team that emphasizes the significance of keeping mothers and their infants together, advocating for skin-to-skin contact, and ensuring a safe, supportive atmosphere. With 10 spacious private LDRP rooms and a strong emphasis on collaboration, you will have the chance to profoundly influence families during one of their most pivotal experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver comprehensive care to laboring mothers and their newborns, maintaining a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
- Assist in circulating during C-sections and provide antepartum care.
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including lactation consultants and maternity educators.
- Utilize advanced IV skills and operate the OBIX Fetal Heart Monitoring System.
- Float to NICU for feeders and growers as necessary.
- Engage in floor-specific orientation and ongoing professional development.
- Active RN license.
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP are mandatory; FHM certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant setting.
- Proficient in C-section and IV skills.
- Willingness to work every third weekend and one major and one minor holiday.
