Cytotechnologist

A healthcare organization is seeking a Cytotechnologist to join their laboratory team on a full-time permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

\n
• \n

  Examine and evaluate cytology specimens for abnormal cellular changes

\n
• \n

  Screen gynecological and non-gynecological specimens

\n
• \n

  Prepare and stain cytology slides according to laboratory protocols

\n
• \n

  Accurately document findings and maintain laboratory records

\n
• \n

  Ensure compliance with laboratory quality assurance and safety standards

\n
• \n

  Collaborate with pathologists and healthcare providers to support accurate diagnoses

\n

Requirements:

\n
• \n

  CT (ASCP) certification preferred or required for many positions

\n
• \n

  Bachelor’s degree in Cytotechnology or related laboratory science field

\n
• \n

  Previous cytology experience preferred

\n
• \n

  Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

\n
• \n

  Ability to work independently in a fast-paced laboratory setting

\n
