Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Receives, verifies, and processes specimens accurately and efficiently to meet turnaround standards.
\n
• Confirms proper labeling and acceptability of specimens; resolves discrepancies as needed.
\n
• Performs and documents testing and blood component processing per protocols.
\n
• Selects and issues appropriate blood components; maintains accurate TSIS documentation.
\n
• Ensures adequate inventory of blood components and uses resources effectively.
\n
• Identifies abnormal results, repeats tests when necessary, and reports accurate findings.
\n
• Maintains a clean, organized workspace and follows safety protocols.
\n
• Assists team members during high-volume periods; works independently and efficiently.
\n
• Reviews logs for pending specimens to ensure completeness and accuracy.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Experience
\n
• Degree in Medical Technology or related study
\n
• AMT or ASCP certified
\n

Bonus points for:

• High complexity testing experience
\n
