SCOPE OF PRACTICE + PATIENT VOLUMES:

- 80% Lab / 20% in clinic \n
- \n
- Average Patient Volume: \n
- 20 - 25 patients per day in clinic \n
- \n
- 11 - 12 Patients per day for procedures \n
- \n
- Consults and rounding done by the physician on call. \n
- \n
- 180 and 190 HD scopes + brand new C-Arms \n
- \n
- 7000+ cases per year in the endoscopy area \n
- \n
- Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy \n
- \n
- EUS \n
- \n
- Cases per year 236+ annually and volume continues to grow \n
- \n
- ERCP \n
- \n
- Cases per year 187+ annually and volume continues to grow \n
- \n
- NEW!! Capsule Endoscopy \n
- \n
- Treatment of Diseases of the Gastrointestinal Tract including: Liver Disease, Gallbladder Disease, Pancreas Disease \n
- 8 days of call 1 & 4, ADVANCING TO 1 & 6 IN 2026 \n
- Consultation Services only for IP \n
- 4 MDs, 3 APPs \n
- Inpatient NP signed starting in February 2026 \n

FACILITIES & SUPPORT:

- Main Campus: Currently 4 procedure rooms and 8 holding rooms (pre and post operative area) \n
- \n
- Single-site setup: ASC, clinic, and hospital integrated for efficiency \n
- \n
- Imaging/Diagnostics: PET scanning, 64-slice CT, 3-D mammography, breast MRI, high-definition endoscopy/bronchoscopy \n
- \n
- Tumor Boards: Bi-weekly for breast, PCC, GI, and ENT \n
- \n
- Surgical Referrals: Includes breast, colorectal, and vascular; Bone marrow transplants referred to Charleston (MUSC or Roper St Francis) \n
- \n
- ACGME Accredited: Medical students, CMC Family Medicine Residency, transitional year, Sports Medicine Fellowship program \n
- \n
- Research & Trials: Currently no active clinical trials; aligned with Duke for access to approximately 450 protocols \n
- \n
- Currently undergoing submission to become accredited by The American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. \n
