Job Opportunity: OBGYN Hospitalist

Our organization is currently in search of an OBGYN Hospitalist to join our team, primarily based in Martinsburg, WV.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a Hospitalist.
Qualifications
  • Possession of an MD or DO degree, or an equivalent international qualification.
  • Eligibility to secure a medical license in the state.
  • Completion of an accredited OBGYN residency program.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
  • All qualifications must be fulfilled prior to appointment.
About Our Services

Our Obstetrics and Gynecology team offers a comprehensive range of women's health services, catering to patients from adolescence through menopause and beyond. Our facility handles approximately 1,100 deliveries annually, utilizing a collaborative model that includes MDAs, CRNAs, and midwives with delivery privileges.

Whether patients require routine examinations, specialized gynecological treatments, or obstetric care, our providers are dedicated to delivering the latest advancements in the field.

Facility Overview

Berkeley Medical Center is a 195-bed non-profit acute care hospital that serves the community with a variety of services, including:

  • Comprehensive radiology services such as MRI, PET, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiology.
  • A wound care center equipped with two hyperbaric chambers.
  • A Level III NICU and a 20-bed ICU.
  • Oncology and neurosurgery services, including advanced robotic technology.
  • A Cardiac Cath Lab.
  • Recently expanded operating room services with four new outpatient ORs and five additional ORs in the main hospital, enhancing capabilities in robotics, orthopedics, and vascular health.

Situated in the Eastern Panhandle, our location is just over an hour from Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, MD. This area combines a rural setting with a lower cost of living, while still providing easy access to urban amenities. Berkeley County is the fastest-growing county in the state, characterized by minimal congestion and traffic.
