Job Summary and QualificationsAs a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care in accordance with departmental requirements and state regulations. You will collaborate with healthcare providers and the care team to offer personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing models such as ‘Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.’ Additionally, you will advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying our organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an exceptional patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the patient’s condition upon admission and during each shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in status.
- Carry out procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of care in the patient’s medical record.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient responses, and take appropriate actions in case of adverse reactions.
- Deliver outstanding care by responding swiftly to patient requests, anticipating needs, and addressing them proactively.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care, ensuring clarity by simplifying complex medical terms.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
