\nJob Overview:
\nThe Per Diem Nurse Practitioner at the Ryan White HIV Clinic provides comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
\nThe NP functions independently and collaboratively to diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions within the scope of HIV primary care.
\nThe role emphasizes prevention, health promotion, harm reduction, and culturally competent care, particularly for underserved and vulnerable populations.

Qualifications:
\nRequired:
\n- \n
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of New Jersey, \n
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience \n
- Completion of HIV-related continuing education \n
- Demonstrated commitment to health equity and working with underserved communities, \n
\n
Certifications and Licenses Required:

- APN License \n
- RN License \n
- NP Certification \n
- CDS and DEA \n
\n
Scheduling Requirements:
\n- \n
- Per Diem position hours based on clinic needs, with flexibility required \n
\n
Essential Functions:
\n- \n
- Provide outpatient primary and HIV specialty care, including physical exams, diagnostic workups, treatment plans, and follow-up \n
- Manage antiretroviral therapy, PrEP/PEP protocols, STI screening and treatment, and co-morbid conditions \n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to coordinate care and address social determinants of health \n
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment options, medication adherence, and preventive health strategies \n
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR, ensuring compliance with HRSA Ryan White program standards and clinical guidelines \n
- Participate in case conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and program development activities as needed \n
- Provide trauma-informed and inclusive care to diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals, undocumented immigrants, and persons with substance use and mental health concerns \n
