\nDell Seton Medical Center is the only Level I Trauma Center serving Central Texas and the fourth-busiest Emergency Department in Texas. Opened in 2017, the hospital is a Certified Stroke Center, Magnet-designated facility, and the primary teaching hospital for Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin. The facility also serves as a critical safety-net hospital for the regions underserved population.
