Job Description

Red Rock Specialty Clinic is seeking a Full-Time Orthopedic Surgeon to provide comprehensive musculoskeletal care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

This role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including:

    \n
  • Scoliosis
  • \n
  • Dislocations and fractures
  • \n
  • Tendon, muscle, and ligament injuries
  • \n
\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Consult with patients and discuss treatment options
  • \n
  • Perform orthopedic surgical procedures to repair, salvage, or replace bones and joints
  • \n
  • Reconnect nerves and restore musculoskeletal function
  • \n
  • Oversee post-operative care and coordinate physical therapy
  • \n
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists when needed
  • \n
\n

The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing a variety of surgical procedures to improve patient mobility, function, and overall musculoskeletal health.

Qualifications

\n

Education

\n
    \n
  • MD or DO from an accredited institution (required)
  • \n
  • Completion of an Orthopedic Surgery residency program (required)
  • \n
  • Fellowship training (preferred)
  • \n
\n

Experience

\n
    \n
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Orthopedic Surgery (preferred)
  • \n
\n

Licensure & Certifications

\n
    \n
  • Unrestricted New Mexico State Medical License
  • \n
  • Federal DEA Certification
  • \n
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery\n
      \n
    • Board Certification expected within two (2) years of hire
    • \n
  • \n
  • Current ACLS and/or BLS Certifications (required)
  • \n
\n

Current PALS Certification (required if treating pediatric patients)
