  • Completion of ACGME approved Neurosurgery Residency.
  • \n
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurosurgery
  • \n
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
  • \n
  • Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
  • \n
  • Interest in general neurosurgery with a focus on spine surgery
  • \n

AHN Neuroscience Institute:

Our Institute integrates renowned experts in the subspecialties of neurology, neuroradiology, neuro-critical care, and neurosurgery to offer leading-edge diagnosis and treatment for patients with the most complex neurological disorders across 7 hospitals throughout Western PA.

\n

The Neuroscience Institute currently staffs over 25 neurosurgeons, 35 neurologists, 13 Pain Medicine physicians and 80 advanced practice providers who specialize in a myriad of neurosurgical disorders, including brain, spine and skull-based surgery, stroke, movement disorders, cranial nerve disorders, neuro-oncology, epilepsy, headache, neuromuscular disorders, dementia, and concussions to name a few. The Institute a provides quaternary care services at Allegheny General Hospital (AGH) in Pittsburgh PA, that includes a level 1 trauma center. There is also a level 2 trauma center located at Forbes Regional Hospital (FRH), located in Monroeville, Pa. There are residency programs in Neurology and Neurosurgery along with several fellowships. The spine program offers a complete array of spinal procedures from endoscopic spine to complex deformity spine and everything in between.
