RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking a full-time General Neurologist to join the growing Neurology team at Jersey City Medical Center (JCMC), a major teaching hospital located on the waterfront of Hudson County.

Position Highlights

  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities caring for patients with a broad range of neurological conditions, including Alzheimers disease, dementia, headaches, encephalopathy, demyelinating conditions, and movement disorders.
  • \n
  • Provide comprehensive stroke and general neurology care while maintaining compliance with DNV and quality standards.
  • \n
  • Participate in multidisciplinary committees, patient safety initiatives, and quality improvement efforts.
  • \n
  • Contribute to the development of treatment protocols and evidence-based standards of care.
  • \n
  • Engage in community outreach and education to support divisional growth.
  • \n
  • Shared call responsibilities: 7 days per month.
  • \n

Candidate Requirements

    \n
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Fellowship.
  • \n
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
  • \n
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of New Jersey.
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
  • \n
  • Adherence to established stroke diagnosis, treatment, and documentation protocols.
  • \n

Compensation

\n

The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $300,000 to $435,000 per year.

\n

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidates educational background, skills, and professional experience.
