The OSF HealthCare Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship is a 12-month transition-to-practice program for new physician assistants. In this full-time, salaried position, we mentor advanced practice providers as they transition into practice and prepare them to become health care leaders.

  Our fellowship has Inpatient, Acute Care tracks in Adult Critical Care, Neonatal Critical Care, Pediatric Acute Care, Hospitalist Medicine and Emergency Medicine.

  Rotations through a variety of locations in central Illinois

  In-seat didactic each week with simulation, skills training, case-based learning, and specialty speakers in Peoria, Illinois

* Full-time, clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $47.12-$55.29

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Licensed to provide physician assistant services as issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in accordance with the Illinois Physician Assistant Practice Act of 1987.

* Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

* BLS/ACLS Certified.

* Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.

* Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
