Our client is seeking a compassionate Pediatric Dentist or an experienced General Dentist with pediatric experience to join a thriving, modern pediatric dental practice in Albany, Georgia.

Responsibilities

\n

• Provide comprehensive dental care for pediatric patients ages 1–21, with the majority of patients between 3–9 years old
\n • Perform Stainless Steel Crowns (SSCs), fillings, pulpotomies, and simple extractions
\n • Complete hygiene checks and recare exams throughout the day
\n • Provide same-day treatment when clinically appropriate
\n • Build trusting relationships with children and their families
\n • Educate patients and parents on lifelong oral health habits
\n • Deliver exceptional patient-centered care in a busy pediatric practice

\n

Qualifications

\n

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
\n • Pediatric Dentist or General Dentist with at least one year of experience treating pediatric patients
\n • Georgia dental license (or eligibility to obtain)
\n • Active Medicaid Provider ID
\n • Current Nitrous Oxide Certification (if required by state)
\n • Comfortable treating pediatric patients ages 1–21, primarily ages 3–9
\n • Comfortable managing patient behavior and communicating effectively with children and parents
\n • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
\n • Team-oriented with a compassionate, patient-focused approach

\n

Practice Environment

\n

• 100% pediatric patient base with approximately 70% Medicaid patients
\n • Comfortable seeing 35–50 patients per day
\n • Manage approximately 12–15 operative patients daily while completing hygiene checks
\n • Approximately 70% hygiene checks and recare exams
\n • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume pediatric office

Team Culture

• Collaborate with doctors, hygienists, assistants, and office staff
\n • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
\n • Enjoy caring for Medicaid and underserved patient populations
\n • Maintain a positive, patient-focused attitude in a busy clinical setting

Schedule

\n

• Full-time
\n • 4–5 days per week
\n • Monday–Friday with optional Saturdays
