Job Description

A client in Moravia, New York is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about oral health, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to delivering exceptional patient care to all ages.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough dental cleanings and screenings to assess oral health
\n
• Remove plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth
\n
• Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants
\n
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized homecare instructions
\n
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
\n
• Assist the dentist during procedures as required
\n
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
\n
• Monitor and manage hygiene supplies and equipment
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Valid NY licensure as a Dental Hygienist
\n
• CPR certification
\n
• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, products, and equipment
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
\n
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
\n
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
\n
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a dental practice
\n
• Proficiency in dental software and digital imaging systems
\n
• Continuing education in dental hygiene

• Spanish fluency
