MIG Welder Weekend Shift

Location: Georgetown, TX
Schedule: Friday Sunday | 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
Pay: $20.00/hr + 12% Weekend Shift Premium

We are seeking an experienced and dependable MIG Welder to join our weekend production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual who takes pride in quality workmanship and can perform independently with minimal supervision.

This is not an entry-level position. Recent welding graduates will not be considered. Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent MIG welding experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of recent MIG welding experience

  • Stable work history and resume

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings in English

  • Experience measuring, cutting, fitting, and welding materials to specification

  • Knowledge of welding equipment, electrical equipment, and hand tools

  • Sheet metal and production welding experience preferred

  • Ability to pass a welding test, background check, and 5-panel drug screen

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications

  • Measure, cut, fit, and weld materials according to specifications

  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and blueprint tolerances are met

  • Set up and operate welding equipment and tools

  • Prepare materials and surfaces for welding

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

  • Assist other departments as needed and perform additional duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching

  • Ability to safely handle long materials and work on structures of varying heights

  • Must wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures
