Unit Overview:

The MedSurg Float Pool RN role is ideal for registered nurses who thrive in a dynamic setting and seek opportunities for professional growth. MedSurg float RNs provide support across MedSurg and mixed acuity units, rotating between our two campuses (Main & Saints).

This position includes a float pool hourly differential and requires working two weekend shifts each month.

Work Schedule:
  • Hours: 36 Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Shift: Nights (weekend and holiday rotation is mandatory)
  • Location: Main Campus - MedSurg Float Pool
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in telemetry or critical care is preferred.
  • Current RN licensure in Massachusetts in good standing is required.
  • A BSN is strongly preferred; an Associate’s degree in nursing may be considered, with a requirement to enroll in a BSN program within one year.
  • BLS certification is mandatory.
  • Specialized certifications such as PCCN or CVRN are preferred.
