\n\n Seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our clinical team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care within the framework of professional practice, utilizing specialized knowledge and judgment to assess, plan, and implement life-saving care for patients of all ages.\n
\n \n Key Responsibilities\n
\n - \n
- Rapid Assessment: Perform comprehensive physical, psychological, and social assessments; interpret diagnostics/labs and report critical findings to physicians. \n
- Care Planning: Develop and revise individualized, measurable plans of care and discharge strategies in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. \n
- Clinical Execution: Provide direct patient care, administer treatments, and coordinate the healthcare team's activities in compliance with hospital policy and regulatory standards. \n
- Documentation: Maintain timely, legible, and accurate records of patient progress, interventions, and physician orders. \n
- Professional Leadership: Support the growth of the unit through shared leadership, mentoring/precepting of new staff, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. \n
\n Minimum Qualifications\n
\n - \n
- License: Current, valid RN license in the State of Arizona (or Compact/Multi-State license). \n
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required upon hire. \n
- Specialized Training: TNCC must be obtained within 6 months of hire. \n
- Competency: Must demonstrate clinical performance competencies through annual validations. \n
\n Preferred Qualifications\n
\n - \n
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). \n
- Professional Board Certification (e.g., CEN). \n
- Prior experience in Emergency or Critical Care nursing. \n
\n Physical Requirements\n
\n - \n
- Ability to stand, walk, and respond quickly to emergency needs for extended periods. \n
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and utilize proper body mechanics for patient transfers. \n
- Adequate visual acuity (including color vision) and hearing to monitor patient status. \n
