\nJob Summary
\nWe are seeking Tackers to support pipe fabrication by preparing and tacking components for final welding. This role is critical in ensuring proper fit-up, alignment, and readiness for welders. Tackers must demonstrate strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and production standards.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Perform tack welding on pipe and fittings \n
- Assist pipe fitters with layout and preparation \n
- Ensure proper alignment and fit-up prior to welding \n
- Complete root and fill to flush on required tests and production work \n
- Read basic drawings and follow instructions for assembly \n
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition \n
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements \n
- Maintain clean and organized work areas \n
Additional Duties
\n- \n
- Assist other departments as needed to support production flow \n
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and efficiency efforts \n
- Perform basic equipment and tool inspections \n
- Support production deadlines and workflow demands \n
Required Qualifications
\n- \n
- Prior pipe shop or field tacking experience \n
- Must pass a 2” monster coupon test in 6G position \n
- Ability to perform root and fill to flush \n
- Basic understanding of pipe fit-up and fabrication \n
- Ability to work in a shop environment \n
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment \n
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with pipe fitters and welders \n
- Familiarity with fabrication shop operations \n
- Ability to read basic drawings \n
