Gardener/Weeder

Job Summary:
Maple Leaf Inc. is seeking a dependable and hardworking Weeder/Gardener to help maintain residential and commercial landscapes. This position involves removing weeds, caring for plants, and keeping flower beds, gardens, and landscaped areas clean, healthy, and attractive. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in producing quality work.

Responsibilities:

• Remove weeds, dead plants, leaves, and other debris from flower beds and landscaped areas.
• Water plants, flowers, shrubs, and trees as needed.
• Plant flowers, shrubs, and other vegetation according to project plans.
• Mulch, edge, and maintain garden beds.
• Identify and report unhealthy or damaged plants.
• Operate and maintain basic gardening and landscaping tools safely.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete daily assignments.

Qualifications:

• Previous gardening or landscaping experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of basic plant care is a plus.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license is preferred.

• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• Day shift
