THE PRACTICE:
\nDynamic physician-owned and led orthopedic practice seeks a fellowship-trained, board-certified, or board-eligible Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician to join Maine’s premier orthopedic practice in the Portland region. Located in southern Maine, the practice is an established group with 11 sub-specialty surgeons, 2 physiatrists, and 2 primary care sports medicine physicians, that incorporates specialized therapy, interventional procedures, and both outpatient and inpatient surgical program approaches.
\nThe practice includes a physician-owned and managed surgery center that will be expanding in 2026, as well as all ancillary services (PT, MRI, DME, and Imaging on-site). In addition to the Portland location, there are locations in Brunswick and Windham, Maine.
\nThe practice provides care throughout southern Maine with an immediate drawing area of approximately 500,000+ in the surrounding counties and an additional 1M+ in the satellite catchment areas. The practice seeks a physician to continue the development of their strong Sports Medicine service line.
