The company recently invested in a new 5-axis CMM system and is looking for a skilled CMM Programmer to help support increasingly complex precision-machined components across aerospace, medical, industrial, and fluid-control industries.

The Work You’ll Be Doing

\n

In this role, you will:

\n
    \n
  • Program and operate CMM equipment within a precision machining environment
  • \n
  • Develop inspection routines and measurement strategies for tight-tolerance machined components
  • \n
  • Work closely with machinists, quality personnel, and manufacturing leadership to support production and first-article inspections
  • \n
  • Interpret blueprints, GD&T requirements, and customer specifications
  • \n
  • Verify dimensional accuracy on aerospace and precision-machined components
  • \n
  • Support first-article inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection activities
  • \n
  • Troubleshoot inspection challenges and improve measurement efficiency
  • \n
  • Maintain inspection documentation and quality records
  • \n
  • Assist with APQP, PPAP, and customer quality requirements as needed
  • \n
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department
  • \n

  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T

  • Strong understanding of dimensional inspection and measurement processes

  • Experience using precision inspection tools and equipment
  • \n
  • Strong attention to detail and process discipline
  • \n
  • Ability to communicate effectively with machinists, quality personnel, and leadership

  • Experience with Mitutoyo MCosmos software

  • Aerospace machining or AS9100 environment experience

  • Experience supporting PPAP, APQP, or FAI documentation
