Job Opportunity: Obstetrician/Gynecologist

Our organization is a large multispecialty group with over 650 providers, currently in search of a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible obstetrician/gynecologist (Ob-Gyn). We are dedicated to a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care. This role is ideal for an OB-GYN who desires the backing of a substantial healthcare system and a well-structured group practice.

The position offers a traditional 4-day work week with a 1:7 Night Float Model call schedule.

About Our Maternity Services

Our facility serves as a regional referral center, featuring:

  • Two Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
  • 24-hour in-house anesthesia coverage
  • A Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • On-site gynecologic oncology
  • Interventional radiology
  • Pediatric surgery and gastroenterology
  • The region's only ACS verified Level II Trauma Center

Additionally, our OB hospitalists are privileged to care for women involved in the Refugee Resettlement program within the community.

Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists

Our specialists provide comprehensive obstetric care, dedicated to supporting patients and their families through complex pregnancies while delivering high-quality perinatal care. They collaborate with primary obstetricians, hospitalists, and neonatologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Our Maternal-Fetal Medicine department has received recognition and accreditation from the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), highlighting our commitment to excellence in diagnostic ultrasound services.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

The Level III NICU offers the highest standard of care for infants, providing 24-hour specialty services. Families from Boise and surrounding areas in Idaho and eastern Oregon can access expert treatment close to home. Our team-oriented approach fosters collaboration between parents and staff, achieving outcomes that surpass national benchmarks. Special programs developed by our neonatologists and NICU staff have resulted in significantly lower length-of-stay and complication rates compared to national averages.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency
  • Certification by the ABOG or the ability to obtain certification within three years of employment
  • Idaho medical licensure and privileges at our facility
  • Valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA
