Job Description
As a vital member of the patient care team, you will assess, evaluate, and provide services based on a treatment plan developed by a physician. You will also oversee the services delivered by Physical Therapy Assistants, with evaluations conducted by fellow professionals.
Key Responsibilities of the Registered Physical Therapist include:
Conduct thorough assessments, which may incorporate OASIS data elements, to determine the patient's physical functioning and need for therapy services.
Engage in discussions with the physician, gather insights from patients and caregivers, and formulate a care plan aimed at helping the patient achieve their maximum rehabilitation potential.
Implement prescribed treatments and/or supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in executing the therapy program.
Develop and instruct patients on a home exercise program (HEP), documenting the instructions in visit notes.
Monitor and report any significant changes in the patient's functioning to the physician, and communicate these changes to other team members involved in the patient's care.
Ensure all services are documented appropriately in accordance with agency policies.
Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions and situations.
Provide the agency with necessary documentation, including a copy of your license/registration, to verify your qualifications.
Accept only assignments for which you are qualified.
Adhere to all applicable State, Federal, Local, and Agency regulations, policies, and procedures.
Keep all patient and agency information confidential.
Follow all policies and procedures, including those related to HIPAA compliance.

Essential Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s degree from a Physical Therapy program accredited by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association.
Licensure: Must be licensed/registered as a Physical Therapist in the State of Texas.
Experience: A minimum of one year of recent experience as a Physical Therapist.
Supervision: At least one year of experience working under the guidance of a Registered Physical Therapist.
Driver Requirements: This position is part of a driver safety program, necessitating a valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with minimum coverage of 100,000/300,000/100,000.

Salary Range
The salary range provided below represents a good faith estimate of the starting base pay for full-time employment (40 hours per week) at the time of posting. Actual pay may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications, including skills, experience, education, and certifications.
$93,000 - $128,000 annually
This position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on individual and/or company performance.
